Wyatt Dean Conroy

Wyatt Dean Conroy, 15, a resident of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Blue Springs. He was born February 17, 2007, to Bradley “Brad” and Amanda “Mandy” (Graul) Conroy in Pensacola, Florida.

Wyatt was a sophomore at Blue Springs High School where he was involved in wrestling, acapella choir, and Scholar Bowl. Wyatt was a member of Blue Springs Boy Scout Troop 362. He had a plethora of interests including weightlifting, designing, tinkering, hiking, camping, and trivia, especially military history. Wyatt treasured his family, friends, and dogs, Caesar and Cleo.

Wyatt is survived by his parents, Brad and Mandy Conroy of Blue Springs; brother, Ian Conroy of Blue Springs; maternal grandfather, Ralph (Ann) Graul of Carterville; paternal grandparents, Randy (Jessie) Campbell of Freeman Spur; paternal grandfather, Delbert Conroy of Royalton; paternal great-grandfather, Ronald Campbell; aunt, Jennifer (Ryan) Pullum of Carterville, uncles, Brent (Laura) Campbell of Herrin, and Travis Conroy of Royalton; cousins, Madeline Snyder, Mia Cain, Camille Pullum, Thomas Pullum, Rylee Pullum, Julianna Campbell, James Campbell, Josselyn Campbell, and Brylee Conroy; and several friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Graul; maternal great-grandparents, Harry and Norma Lee Simpson, and Elmer and Vernell Graul; paternal great-grandparents, Alice Campbell, Helen and Melvin Russell, and Anna and Wayne Conroy.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Springs Boy Scout Troop 362, Blue Springs Wildcat Wrestling Club, Blue Springs High School Choir, or Blue Springs High School Scholar Bowl team.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville. A brief funeral service will follow with Pastor Eric Lam officiating. Burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery.
