Sandra Rhea Colp, 66, of Hurst, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Westside Care Center in West Frankfort.
She was born August 8, 1954, in Herrin, to John and Marie (Williams) Garavalia. Sandra married Charles Alvin Colp in Marion, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2021.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Jon (Tzena) Colp of Macedonia and Charles (Modest Donaldson) Colp of Hurst; grandchild, Kyra Huffamn of Macedonia; brother, Pete Garavalia of Marion; sister-in-law, Annuvon Garavalia of Carterville…
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Sherry; and brother, John “Boots” Garavalia.
Sandra worked as a C.N.A. for Shawnee Senior Living Center in Herrin for several years. She also was an E.M.T. for the city of Hurst for over 8 years.
Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville assisted the family with cremation services.
