Aaron was born on October 13, 1978, in Marion, to Stuart Robert “Bob” and Donna Lea (Francis) Farris.
He is survived by his father, Bob Farris; siblings, Corrie Farris of Goreville; and Matthew Farris of Goreville; plus additional close family and friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Lea Farris; and grandparents.
He was a project manager for ISEC Corporation in Nashville.
Aaron was an avid reader and an active member of several book clubs. A lifelong fan of Hanna-Barbera cartoons—especially Scooby-Doo—he found joy in nostalgia and pop culture. He loved collecting vintage items, traveling, and painting. A devoted sports enthusiast, Aaron passionately followed the St. Louis Cardinals, the New Jersey Devils, and Tottenham Hotspurs. As a collector of many things, his favorite was collecting memories with friends and family.
Aaron’s life may have been short, but he made sure to pack a lot of life into it. Aaron made sure to live out the words of his favorite philosopher, Marcus Aurelius “It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.”
