Rosemary Delain Culp, 72, of Herrin, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Willowrest Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Rosemary was born January 3, 1948, in Herrin, to William Henry and Golda Mae (Bean) Russell.
She is survived by her sons, David (Crystal) Culp of Carbondale, Larry (Darla) Culp of Jamestown, North Dakota, Brent (Jennifer) Buchanan Culp of Benton, Todd (Stacy) Culp of West Frankfort, Craig (Karie) Culp of Hurst, and Adam (Catricia) Culp of Herrin; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Russell of Herrin; nieces, Kathi Russell-Churchill of Herrin and Kirsten Russell-Dawson of Carterville; nephew, Rick Russell of Herrin; aunt, Shelba Russell of Carterville; great-uncle, Merle Henson of DeSoto; cousin, Lisa Henson of Kentucky; and sisters, Karen Whitehead and Donna Hammonds.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Dean Russell; sister, Sharon Samples; step-mother, Faye Morris; and uncle, Van Russell.
She retired in 2006, from WPS after more than 20 years of service in the Quality Assistance Department.
Rosemary loved being outdoors, horseback riding, traveling, and watching QVC.
