Rose Tucker Obituary

Rose Marie Tucker, 92, of rural Carbondale, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Private family services were held.

Rose was born August 10, 1930, in Belleville, to Loren and Elvira (Schmidt) Robinson. She married Charles Harold “Jack” Tucker, and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1988.

She is survived by her children, Diane Allen, Robert Tucker, and William Tucker, all of Carbondale; granddaughter, Sabrina (Blake) Yount of Jackson, Missouri; and brother, Clifford Robinson of Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Loren Robinson Jr.

She attended Cottage Home Baptist Church.

Rose was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville assisted the family with arrangements.
