Ronald Timmons Obituary

Ronald Ralph Timmons, 78, of Carterville, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019, at his home.

He was born December 5, 1940, in Webster City, Iowa, to Wyatt Wells and Evelyn (McCollough) Timmons. He married Sharon Juanita Samuel and she preceded him in death in June 1978.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Kari Hagler of Carterville; grandchildren, Sharon Nicole Hagler of Carbondale, Hailey Timmons of Herrin and Kasey Lynn Long of Carterville; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel T. Brame, Tyson W. Brame and Madison N. Boomer; brother, Randal (Janis) Timmons of West Frankfort.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sharon Juanita Timmons.

Ronald was a "jack of all trades" and had worked for the family business,

R & W Cable Splicing. He also served as a Police Officer and EMT for the city of Carterville.
