Phyllis Anne (Jeralds) Ward Frye

Phyllis Anne Ward Frye, 91, of Cambria, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Integrity of Marion.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Blairsville Cemetery, with her sons, Danny and David Ward officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Cambria Food Pantry or the Williamson County Department on Aging.

Phyllis was born November 8, 1930, in Cambria, to Hillis and Iva Coleen (Keys) Jeralds. She married Donald Ward on July 19, 1946, in Cambria. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya (Jim) Shride; sons, Danny (Pam) Ward and David Ward; grandchildren, James (Amber) Shride, Dwan Ward, Alaura (Brock) Barras, Andre (Jessi) Ward, Robert (Kelly) Ward, and A.J. (Megan) Ward; great-grandchildren, Aiden Ward, Violet Ward, Magnolia Basler, David Ward, Kallie Ward, Jasper Ward, Wylder Ward, Layla Ward, and Beckham Ward; sister, Pam Barber.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brother, Andre Jeralds; and sister, Mary Vasquez.  

She was a self-employed hairdresser operating a salon in West Frankfort for several years before becoming a manager of Heil Beauty Supply in Marion for over 20 years.

Phyllis was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church in Marion for over 28 years.
