Paul was born December 22, 1960, in Herrin, to Robert “Bob” and Eva Jean (Jeralds) Kerley. He married Peggy S. Keller on April 5, 1985, in Cambria.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Kerley, of Blairsville; daughters, Nicci (Austin) Stephens of Marion, and Bridget Kerley (Jeremy Smith) of Herrin; grandchildren, Bailey Kern, Addison and Parker Stephens; brothers, Donald (Linda) Kerley, Richard (Barbara) Kerley, Ronald (Stephani) Kerley, Charles (Janet) Kerley, and Brian (Pam) Kerley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked at Vernell’s Interstate Service for over 40 years and spoke very highly of his “work family”. Paul was a hard worker – he always enjoyed sharing his knowledge of building and repairing vehicles. He also was willing to lend a hand at whatever you needed him to do.
Paul enjoyed being outdoors – especially fishing. If you knew Paul, then you knew how much he loved his family and spending time with them. He liked to crack jokes and really liked to give the ones he loved a “hard time”.
