Patrick "Pat" Michael Tuggle

Patrick “Pat” Michael Tuggle, 66, of Carterville, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Pat was born January 22, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ronald James and Shirley Ann (Thomas) Tuggle. He married Rhonda Duke on December 26, 2009, in Carterville.

A dedicated truck driver for 25 years with Bost Truck, enjoyed life on the road but cherished the time spent with family most of all. He loved spoiling his grandkids, who brought endless joy to his life.

An avid antique enthusiast, Pat found happiness exploring flea markets, garage sales, and antique shops, always searching for hidden treasures. A natural tinkerer, loved fixing things, working with his hands, and nurturing his garden, where he felt at peace.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Tuggle; daughters, Catherine (Richard) Pender, CaraKay (James) Pool, and Jessica Wells; son, Bradley Tuggle; brother, Ronnie Tuggle; sisters, Vickie (Ralph) Clear, and Kelly (Mark) Travis; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Randi Wells.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
