Patricia Walker Obituary

Patricia Jane Walker, 62, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her home in Hurst.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hurst Food Pantry.

Patricia was born on January 7, 1959, in Herrin, Illinois, to Virgil Dallas and Gertrude Jane (Freeman) Patrick. She married Loren Walker in Herrin. He preceded her in death in February 2006.

She is survived by her sons, Derrick Patrick, and Christopher Alexander of Hurst; grandchildren, Breanna Patrick of Herrin and Brandon Patrick of Henderson, Kentucky; great-grandchild, Weston Blessing of Herrin; brother, Carl Patrick of Hurst; Godson, Larry (Vicki) Reed of Hurst.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jackie Westbrook.

She worked at Herrin Hospital in the Dietary Department for 15 years, and then transferred over to a home health care giver.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville assisted the family with arrangements.
