Creasey "Pat" Escue, 91, of Makanda, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Integrity Health in Carbondale.
Private graveside services will be held at Gentry Cemetery in rural Makanda, with Pastor David Dyer officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Lone Oak Baptist Church, 809 Ryan Drive, Energy, Illinois 62933.
Pat was born November 4, 1928, in Hippo, Kentucky, to Leck and Rose Anne (Howard) Bailey. She married Paul Eugene Escue on October 8, 1954, in Indiana.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Paul Escue of Makanda; sister-in-law, Barbara Escue of Makanda; granddaughter, Janet (Mike) Terry of California; grandson, Carl Bailey Jr. of Florida; 3 great-granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; several great great-grandchildren; nephews, Al (Jeannie) Yancey of Carbondale, Danny Yancey of Carbondale, Ernie (Vicki) Escue of Makanda, Tim (Becky) Yancey of Makanda, David Yancey (Charlie Kent) of Carbondale, and Lonnie (Jill) Escue of Makanda; nieces, Sharlyn (Joe) Slivinski of Portland, Oregon, Kathy Escue (Sally Niemeyer) of Benton, Debbie Chuck Richardson of Allen, Texas, and Tina (Gary) Eckert of Vincennes, Indiana; and her beloved dog, Granger.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and son, Carl Bailey.
She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Energy.
She retired after 20 years of service as a sports reconditioner from Century Sports in Carbondale.
Pat enjoyed doing cross word puzzles.
