Mason Stewart Obituary

Mason Monroe Stewart, a precious angel, beloved son of Lexus Faith and Alysia Stewart was born into eternity on September 3, 2025, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Mason will forever be remembered by his moms: Alysia and Lexus Stewart; fur siblings: Mavis, Reign, Storm, Luka, and Aubrie; grandparents: Teresa Simpson, Scott McGuire, and LaShunda and Mark Wefler; aunts and uncles: Joshua Simpson, Jeremiah Andress, Shay (Zack) Hutchison (and their daughter, Josephine), and Presley; plus a host of loving extended friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Pamela Jean Stewart, known as ‘Nanny’, and Marsha McGuire.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville assisted the family with arrangements.
