Mary Lisa "Sissy" Cerami

Mary Lisa “Sissy” Cerami, 58, of Energy and formerly of Carbondale, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Herrin Hospital. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Ron White officiating.  Burial will be in Willowrest Cemetery in Carterville.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

She was born on October 24, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Frank L. and Mary Helen (Hammons) Cermai Sr.

Mary Lisa is survived by her brother, Frank Cerami Jr.; two nephews, Cody Cerami and Leander Cerami; two great nieces, Sophia and Katie Cerami. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Mary Lisa enjoyed crocheting and drawing.
