Mary Grace Jarvis, 85, of Carterville, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Herrin Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Blairsville Cemetery, with Rev. Ryan Tackett officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family.

Mary was born April 9, 1939, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Grace V. Back.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Jon) Renshaw; son, Charles (Peggy) Jarvis; husband, Lonnie Jarvis; grandchildren Aaron (Vanessa) Renshaw, Andrew (Amanda) Renshaw, and Mary Elizabeth Jarvis; and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Immy, Evie, and Oliver Renshaw, and Kellina Clay.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Tracy Jarvis.

She worked at Nutrition Headquarters for over twenty-eight years.

Mary enjoyed playing BINGO and doing crossword puzzles.
