Marlene Patricia Franklin

Marlene Patricia Franklin, 85, of Beaumont, California, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2020.

Marlene was born May 11, 1934, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, to Vera Franklin.

She is survived by her four daughters, Bobbi Lynn Jones and Geralyn Ann Knoth, both of Beaumont, California, Sharon Kay (Gordon) Dadey and Michelle Diane (John) Harkema, both of Eagle Point, Oregon;  12 grandchildren, Monica (Tony) Pou, Frank (Erika) Pereida, Christina (Jonathan) Pereida, Michael Evans, Jennifer Franklin, Jessica Panter, Joseph Harris, Crystal, Joann, and Brent Dadey, Nicole Aguilar, Zach and McKenzie Harkema;  11 great-grandchildren, Alexiana Pou, Shaniah and Savannah Pereida, Braden and Dominick Panter, Kirstin and Kaylie Harris, Sadie Ricks and Jordan Dadey, Mya and Sierra Capitanich, Atticus and Ariden Aguilar;  three sisters, Sharon Janey, Mary Hafner, Nancy Willson; and three brothers, Louis (Bud), Frank, and James (J.C.) Rhodes.

Marlene is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Frank (Daddy) and Dora (Momma) Franklin; her mother, Vera Rhodes; her sister, Sheila Rhodes; her three uncles, Claude, James, and Carlis Franklin; and her two aunts, Lillian Dawson and Beryl Gualdoni. 

Marlene retired from TRW, a subcontractor to Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, California in 1991.  She was a computer analyst who had a high clearance status with the government.  She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren she loved. 

Marlene loved music, reading, crossword puzzles and watching her favorite crime shows and the TBN ministry network.
