Margaret Ann (Morgan) Brady

Margaret Ann Brady, 49, of Carterville, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with John Bush officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to offset expenses.

Margaret was born September 22, 1973, in Carbondale, to Earl and Betty (Bush) Morgan. She married Clifford Raymond Brady Jr. on June 22, 2000, in Cambria.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff “Skip” Brady; son, Jonathan Ferrell of Grand Tower; daughter, Samantha (Gavin) James of DuQuoin; grandson, Asher James; mother, Betty Edwards of Crainville; siblings, Earl Morgan, Andy Watts, Linda Edwards, and David Edwards; nieces and nephews, Markese Joiner, Makylah Joiner, Marshawn Joiner, Kaiden Edwards, Ixzavior Edwards, Mackenzie Edwards, and Kruz Edwards; in-laws, Beverly and Clifford Brady Sr.; sister-in-law, Connie Collins; and brother-in-law, Johnnie Brady.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Clara Bush; uncle, Johnny Bush; and aunt, Linda Clark.

She had worked at Dollar General in Carterville for many years. Margaret later worked for Dollar Tree in Marion.

Margaret was a Snoopy fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.
