Mandi was born June 30, 1985, in Herrin, to William “Bill” and Carmen (Coffey) Grammer.

She is survived by her children, Brogan, Daicee, and Brenleigh; parents, Bill (Carmen) Grammer of Carterville; sisters, Jessica (Tony) Kessler and Cassie Grammer, all of Carterville; brothers, Bryon (Samantha) Grammer of Atoka, Tennessee and Brent Grammer of Carterville; the love of her life, Kris Kudrna of Shawnee, Oklahoma; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; plus a host of friends.

Mandi was preceded in death by her sister, Kristin “Krissy” Lea Grammer Evans; grandparents, Rondell (Daisy) Grammer and Raymond (Janet) Coffey; and cousins, Scott Coffey and Alisha Grissom.

Mandi was a 2003 graduate of Carterville High School and had attended John A. Logan College before enlisting in the Army National Guard in 2004.  Mandi had several jobs in hospitality over the years, and was currently working at O’Charley’s in Marion, one of her favorite restaurants.

She was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her children and liked to find creative DIY projects to do together. Mandi was also an adoring aunt to her nieces and nephews and would spend hours playing with them-whether it was playing dress up or being creative and painting.

Mandi had a passion for cooking and enjoyed creating new recipes, always making sure to add her favorite ingredient, pepper!  She also loved fashion-from shoes to jewelry. You rarely saw Mandi without any accessories on.
