Kevin Lee Hagerty

Kevin Lee Hagerty, 65, of Carterville, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2024, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Evan Kern officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.

Kevin was born December 7, 1958, in Chicago, to Jayne (Ridley) and Herbert Hagerty. He married Tracy Wolf on November 14, 1998, in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Wolf-Hagerty; daughters, Amanda Hagerty (Daniel Turnquist) and Mary Jayne Hagerty; son, Terry Neeley; sisters, Charleen Hagerty, and Darlene Roberts; six grand-dogs; plus many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Michael, Timmy, Herbert, William Joseph Hagerty.

He was a self-employed roofer for over 20 years.

Kevin was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan who enjoyed buying lottery tickets, listening to music, and spending time (and helping take care of) his fur grand pups. He was always there to help out his family and friends anytime they needed a hand.

Kevin also helped his son-in-law, Dan, start a 3D printing business and liked helping him grow the business.
