John Harris Foster

John Harris Foster, 84, of Hurst, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home.

He was born on September 30, 1941, in Marion, to Lucille (Burnett) and John Raymond Foster. John married Marsha June Acker on June 5, 1992, in Paducah, Kentucky.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha Foster; daughters, Robin (Jair) Loyd and Renee Gibson (William Timothy); grandchildren, Noble Loyd, William Grayson Gibson, Ryan Loughary, Brandon Loughary, Robert Powell and Jessica A. Bugg; sister, Netta Thompson; sister-in-law, Brenda Foster; step-daughters, Jamie (Harold) Powell and Becky (Richard) Loughary; plus several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darron Foster and Bill Foster.

John was a mechanic and truly a jack of all trades.

He honorably served our country in the United States Air Force.
