Obituary

James “Jim” Allen Williams, 60, of Carterville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home.

He was born July 22, 1962, in Leesburg, Virginia, to John and Vivian (Meadows) Williams.

Jim is survived by his son, Justin (Diana) Williams; daughter, Nickolett Taylor; grandchildren, Jaiden, Addisyn, Averi, Layla, and Aubrie; brothers, Robert Williams, John (Diane) Williams, Donnie Williams, and Rick Williams; and his significant other, Terri McNeill.

He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, JoAnn Schultz.

Jim was most recently working as a painter with a construction company. He had worked at Skelcher’s Concrete for over 25 years.

He enjoyed spending Sundays watching the Redskins games with his son, playing bags, and sitting on the porch swing enjoying his days with Terri.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville is assisting the family with cremation services.
