Jacob Todd Cavins, 24, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Jacob is survived by his parents: his father, Todd (Amber) Cavins of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and his mother, Shannon Foster of Johnson City, Illinois; his brother, Dylan Cavins of Johnson City, Illinois; paternal grandmother, Andrea Cavins of Carbondale, Illinois; his maternal grandmother, Donna Skidmore of Carbondale, Illinois; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, with a brief service starting at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Cassie Puckett, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville.
