Isabell Fern Wiggs, 97, of Florissant, Missouri, and formerly of Crainville, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Carterville at a later date.

Isabell was born January 10, 1923, in Williamson County, to Lawrence Aaron and Edna Earl (Wright) Cannon. She married Paul James Wiggs on March 9, 1940, in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1979.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Sue Sprague of Crainville; son, Jimmy Dean Wiggs of Florissant, Missouri; sister, Helen Colp of Crainville; grandchildren, Sean Douglas Wiggs of St. Louis and Darin Bradley Sprague of Stuart, Florida; great-grandson, Carver Wiggs; sister-in-law, Rosalie Wiggs of Crystal Lake; and good friend, Travis Wright of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania.
Isabell was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Lee Wiggs; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Wiggs; son-in-law, David Sprague; sister, Mae James; and brother, Lawrence Leon Cannon.
She was a talented cook and seamstress who enjoyed tending to her flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
