Gary Vaughn, 86, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and formerly of Carterville, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville. Entombment will be at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Gary was born on April 5, 1939, in Carterville, to Herman Marshall and Geraldine Genevieve (Rossin) Vaughn. He married Janet L. on June 23, 1979.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Vaughn; children, Randy Vaughn, Mike (Sandee) Vaughn, Dan (Linda) Steve Vaughn, and Kathryn Vaughn (Chris Thomas); step-children, Pam Walbrant, Andrea (Donnie) Weber, and Scott (Melissa) Besaw; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Brenda (Sam).
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene, Ronnie, and Dennis; and sisters, Connie and Frankie.
