Gary E. Peldo, 64, of Marion, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Blairsville Cemetery, with Rev. R.H. Chitwood officiating.

Gary was born November 5, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, to Paul and Marlene (Buckner) Peldo. He married Tamara “Tami” Sanders on November 30, 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Peldo of Marion; children, Jesse Peldo of Marion and Justin (Lacey) Peldo of Metropolis; step-son, Ryan Parrish of Goreville; grandkids, Tyson, Addisyn, Carsyn, Cainyn, Graycen, and Kynzie; sisters, Linda (Al) Samu, LuAnn, and Dorothy Bradford; mother-in-law, Linda Hawkins of Marion; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special cousins, Brett Baxter, Wade Nelson, and Jason Baxter; and a host of friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Tiffany Peldo; brother, Buddy Peldo; and sister, Cheryl (Terry) Butler.
He was a truck driver for over 25 years for Westside Transport out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Gary enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and going “jugging”. He was a people person who loved to laugh. His greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his kids and grandkids.
