Fred Hamilton Walker, 82, of Cambria, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his home.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Fred was born September 12, 1940, in Carterville, to Albert and Alice (Jordan) Walker. He married JoAnn Bailey on August 21, 1959, in Hurst. She preceded him in death on October 4, 2022.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Lynn (Clyde) Donley, and Sharon Kay (Tim) Kempton; son, Tracy Lee (Sue) Walker; sister, Pat Warren; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Clyde Walker, Albert Jr. “Jack”, Everett “Goose”, George “Mouse”, and LeRoy “Bill” Walker; sisters, Thelma Lyell, Emma Davis, Peggy Owens, and Belle Westbrook.
He was a self-employed carpet and tile installer for over 40 years, retiring in 2008.
