Eugene Henley

Eugene “Billy” Henley, 92, of Royalton, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Helia Healthcare of Energy.

He was born on June 21, 1933, in Cambria, to Maureen (Hock) and James Cecil Henley. Eugene married Brenda Lou Jarvis on October 21, 1973, in Shawneetown.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Brenda Henley; children, Rocky Henley, Viva Henley, and Kevin (Tresa) Chandler; grandchildren, Misty (Kenny) Stout, Bo Chandler, Lucian (Ashley) Chandler, Dustin (Amy) Tomanovich, Justin (Tina) Tomanovich, Abby (Matt) Blue; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Dennise Murphy; brothers-in-law, Fred Jarvis and Ronnie Howell; in-laws, Ray and Mary Jarvis; and nephew, Eddie Dalton.

Eugene retired from Norge, where he worked as a repairman. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making canes. In his spare time, he raised rabbits and took great pleasure in riding horses.
