Douglas "Doug" Crosley, 70, of Carterville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Herrin Hospital.

He was born May 20, 1950, in Chicago, to William Robert and Dorothy June (Lorentz) Crosley. He married Tamara Sue Tippy on April 4, 1986, in Carterville.

Doug is survived by his wife, Tammy Crosley of Carterville; daughters, Marleen Hunter of Herrin and Summer Crosley of California; sons, Rane Crosley of Marion, Kirby Crosley of Herrin and Cody Crosley of Marion; granddaughter, Cortnie Crosley of Herrin; great-granddaughter, Aryanna Randall of Herrin; sister, Linda Crosley of Worth, Illinois; brother, Greg (Rita) Crosley of Burbank, Illinois; mother-in-law, Shirley Tippy of Carterville; brother-in-law, Rocky Tippy of Herrin and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Robert "Bob" Tippy and brother-in-law, Robert "Jay" Tippy.

Doug honorably served our country in the United States Army.

He was a Coal Mine Examiner for American Coal Company.
