Donna L. (Harper) Wemmer

Donna L. Wemmer, 72, of Herrin, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Donna was born August 11, 1951, in Herrin, to Ralph and Marie (Inchcliff) Harper.

She is survived by daughters, Mary (Christopher) Hampton, Paula Wemmer, and Christal (Rick) Bardle; grandchildren, Ashley Bryant, Hailee Marks, Dalton Marks, and Christian Marks; 4 great-grandchildren; her life partner, Dennis Graves, and his daughters, Amanda Hammond, Crystal (Bill) Marshina, and Cheryl (Joe) Postorino, plus their families including an additional 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Harper.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene, Sonny, and Frank “Sugar” Mullins; and sister, Katty Seargent.

She had worked as a security guard with Securitas in Marion.

Donna enjoyed reading, going shopping, and watching old Westerns.
