Carolyn Marie Shaternick, 81, of Carterville and formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood, and Hammond, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Helia Healthcare of Energy.
Carolyn was born November 7, 1941, in Chicago, to Carl Eugene and Patricia Rose (Antonopulos) Ronzani. She was a graduate of Fenger High School and attended Southern Illinois University. Carolyn found her dream job as a small business Horticulturalist selling plants on eBay. She was formerly employed by the University of Chicago.
She was the mother of the late Gabriel Ronzani and Damian Shaternick. She is the sister of David (Doreen) Ronzani and the late Sgt. Charles Ronzani; dear aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
