Bradford “Brad” James Turner, 37, of Carterville, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Michael Henson officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro. **Per family request, everyone attending must wear a mask. **

Bradford was born January 25, 1985, in Benton, Illinois, to Victor Lynn and Marsha Kay (Guetersloh) Turner.
He is survived by his parents, Victor and Marsha Turner; daughter, Kali; sisters, Lynnette (Lee) Dunaway and Katrina Pritchett; nieces, Victoria Turner, Allie Pritchett and Olivia Dunaway; and nephews, Dylan Dunaway, and Carter Turner.
Bradford was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Olive Turner and Roy and Ella Guetersloh.
He honorably served in the United States Navy where he was assigned to the Seabee’s Division. He served overseas during the earthquake in Pakistan, and also did tours in Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom.
He worked as an electrician out of the IBEW local #702 in West Frankfort.
