Bobby Hoyle Obituary

 

Bobby Hoyle, 57, of Herrin, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home, with Pastor Jared Sparks officiating. Burial will be at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

The preferred form of remembrance is memorial contributions made to a College Fund for Levi and Jeremiah Hoyle, payable to Susan Hoyle.

Bobby was born November 4, 1964, in Anna, to Cynthia K. Hoyle. He married Susan Moore on September 26, 2007, in Marion.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Hoyle of Herrin; children, Dakota Treece, Britany Treece (Dalton Rothchild), Jeremiah Hoyle, and Levi Hoyle; grandchildren, Cosmo Rothchild and Clara Rothchild; two sisters; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; plus many dear friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and his beloved granny, Leotta Swafford.

He worked at Herrin Hospital as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Acute Rehabilitation Center for 20 years.

Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, and hunting for deer and turkey.  He also loved spending time with his family. 

He had a talent for music and sang as well as played the guitar.  Bobby was a member of the band Reunion for over 13 years as well as a member of the Praise band at Hope Church for many years.

Bobby was able to lead others to Christ through his own faith.
