Barry Lee Bishop

Barry Lee Bishop, 61, of Cambria, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his home, with family by his side.

Barry was born December 23, 1961, in Carbondale, to Rodney Paul and Phyllis June (Finney) Bishop. He married Vicki Vaughn on October 16, 1997, in Marion.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Bishop; daughters, Lesley Gould (Adrian Clover), and Ashley Mize; grandchildren, Teresa Pender and Julian Mize; mother, Phyllis Houston; step-mother, Judy Bishop; step-sister, Trudy Hopkins; aunt, Sharon Ward; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Danny) Hewlett, Cindy (Mark) Provo, and Nancy (Mike) Bullard; brother-in-law, John (Sandra) Vaughn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, and aunt, Karen Hester.

He had worked in maintenance for various places over the years. Barry most recently worked at Timberline Fisheries.  

Barry loved his kids and grandkids dearly. He was a big music fan who enjoyed taking trips to Memphis with Vicki. He also liked NASCAR and motorcycles.
