Alix Kathleen (Wheeler) Sewell

Alix Kathleen Sewell, 74, of Cambria, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Mounds National Cemetery.

Alix was born December 29, 1945, in St. James City, Minnesota, to Alfred Edwin and Ruth Lucille (Ryan) Wheeler. She married Robert Gregory Sewell on September 7, 1968, in St. James, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Potts; grandchildren, Maureen Corbell, Kylie Potts and Chase Potts; son-in-law, Doug Corbell; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Marcia) Sewell.

Alix was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Jeanne Corbell; and sister, Elaine Wheeler.

She was a supporter of the First Baptist Church in Cambria.

Alix spent her time as a volunteer with the Girl Scouts and 4-H Club.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter.
