Adam Wayne Bryant

Adam Wayne Bryant, 47, of West Frankfort, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his home.

Adam was born March 6, 1977, in Carbondale, to Charles Eugene Bryant of Johnston City, Illinois, and Virginia Ann (Bruce) Stith, of St. Louis, Missouri.

He is survived by his mother and father; his four children, Gabriel Wohlwend, Xavier, Hailey, and Uriah Bryant; his sisters, Tammy Heckel (Matthew), and Jessica Bryant; his aunts, Patty Williams (Joe), Elsie Tyner, and Claudine Goodman; uncle, Brian Russell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Adam was preceded in death by his stepfather, Leon Stith; and grandparents, Kenneth and Eliza Bruce, and Anna McCoy Russell.

He was raised in Carterville, Illinois. He worked as a welder and in mechanical repair. He enjoyed music of all kinds and attending concerts. He also enjoyed good conversations with family and friends.

Private services will be held at a later date.
