Carterville
Rose Marie Bushno, 60, of Carterville and formerly of Kewanee, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Integrity Health Care in Herrin.
Rose was born on September 26, 1957, in Winnebago, Illinois, to John J. and Lila Joan (Goyer) Bushno. She was a 1975 graduate of Annawan High School. Rose later earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1979 from Illinois State University. She was recognized by the Who's Who Among Students in High School and in College.
She is survived by her siblings, Edward Ray Williams of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Sherra Irving of Rogers, Arkansas, John Bushno of East Moline, Lori D. Fleming of Hurst, and Kay Bushno of Carterville; her special friend, Bob Weir of Kewanee. Rose is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their beloved aunt Rosie.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark W. Bushno; and beloved dog, Tinker.
She was a social worker for many years.
Rose loved flowers, tulips being her favorite. She also enjoyed sky diving and cooking.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church in Kewanee, with Pastor Jayson Garcia and Deacon Jim Smith officiating.
