Robert "Bob" Lee Hock Jr., 73, of Goreville, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Graveside services, with military rites, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville, with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.

Bob was born on May 7, 1946, in Herrin, to Robert Lee and Lillian Evelyn (Worthen) Hock. He married Linda Sue Burns on December 16, 1966, in Elizabethtown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Hock of Goreville; daughters, LaTisa Wefler and Jessica Woelk, both of Goreville; son, Robert Lee (Jasmine) Hock III of Valparaiso, Indiana; grandchildren, Aaron Wefler, Dakota Cottrell, Kassandra Cottrell, Lilliana (Joe) Dyszczakowski, Kevin Hock, Charlotte Hock, Joshua (Brevyn) Woelk, Tyler Woelk (fiancée, Kim Dubson), and Johnathan Woelk; great-grandchildren, Bryce Siwinski, Aliah Cottrell, Alijah Cottrell, Gracelyn Cottrell, and Wyatt Cottrell; sisters, Susie (Harold) Hubbard of Royalton, Margo (Bob) Nellis of West Frankfort and Pearl Barnes of Goreville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Terry (Martha) Burns of Cambria, Larry (Peggy) Boze of Arizona, Donna Brown of Cambria, and Judy Lynch of New Albany, Indiana; his beloved dogs, Little Bit and Tippers; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; infant children, Kimberly and Charles Hock; and a sister, Diane.
He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, where he completed 2 tours of duty.
Bob retired in March of 2000, from Bethlehem Steel, after 35 years of service.
He enjoyed being outdoors whether it was fishing, tending to his flowers or riding his motorcycle. Bob also liked to build model boats. He had a passion for music and shared his talents by singing and guitar playing.
