CRAINVILLE - Patricia Faith Wiggs, 73, of Crainville, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at Helia Healthcare in Energy, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with her nephew, Pastor Jeff Wiggs officiating. Burial will be in North Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crainville Baptist Church.
Pat was born on March 31, 1944, in Crainville, to Coval Lynn and Irene Pearl (Glasco) Wiggs.
She is survived by her brothers, Bill (Mary Jane) Wiggs and David (Elizabeth) Wiggs, all of Crainville; nephews and nieces, Julie (Gregg) Giracs of Carterville, Robert (Dana) Wiggs of Gig Harbor, Washington, Stephen (Renee) Wiggs of Sonoma, California, Brad (Charlene) Wiggs of Lynchburg, Virginia, Jeff (Christy) Wiggs of Carterville, and Scott (Suzette) Wiggs of Carterville; many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
She retired from SIUC, after 34 years of service in the Administration Office to the President of the University. Pat had also worked as the secretary for Crainville Baptist Church for more than 15 years.
Pat was a 60 year member of Crainville Baptist Church.
She loved animals, especially her cats. Pat enjoyed traveling abroad to Europe. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
