Norma Marie Tiller, 88, of Carterville, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Herrin Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Willie Murphy officiating. Burial will be in North Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Norma was born on December 17, 1930, in Gail, Illinois, to Edward and Iva Mae (Hale) Boling. She married James Lloyd Tiller on January 5, 1948, in McClure, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1996.
She is survived by her children, Loyd Tiller of Benton, Glenda (Mike) Kremer of Herrin and Betty (Ned) Enrietto of Marion; grandchildren, Rachel (David) Stacey, Amanda (Tim) Brayfield, Blake (Lindsey) Bush, April (Jarrett) Halley, and Dalton Bush; great-grandchildren, William Brayfield, Keely Bush, Lillian Stacey, Braxton Bush, Drayden Stacey, and Vincent Brayfield; 5 step grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren; and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant sister, Marvalee Boling; sisters, Elsie Offerman, Betty Warren and Merline Allen; and brother, Charles Boling.
She was the grill cook at Luke's Cafe in Pinckneyville for many years.
Norma enjoyed quilting and doing embroidery. She loved taking care of her home and family.
