Joshua Wayne Emery, 37, of St. Lucie West, Florida, and St. Louis, Missouri, and formerly of Carterville, passed away on April 17, 2018.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida 34986.

He was born on September 21, 1980, in Herrin, to Larry and Diana (Trombino) Emery.

Josh is survived by his parents, Larry and Diana Emery of St. Lucie West, Florida; sister, Jamie (Mike) Barnes of Fort Pierce, Florida; grandfather, Carl "Tony" Trombino of St. Lucie West, Florida and formerly of Carterville; the light of his life, his 19-month old son, Luka Anthony Emery; fiancée, Katie Tanurchis of St. Louis; and godparents, Linda (Dan) Dolen of Vero Beach, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy and Genelle Emery and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Trombino.
