Joanne J. (Gotti) Smialek, 71, of Justice, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at her daughter's home in Carterville, surrounded by her family.

Services for Joanne will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to her family.

Joanne was born on December 30, 1947, in Chicago, to Michael Peter and Josephine Rose (Litterello) Gotti.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly (Raymond) Bullock of Carterville; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Marlene) Smolek of Chicago and Thomas (Sara) Smialek of Marion; six grandchildren, Ethan, Nicholas, Aidan, Natalie Grace, Mason and Steven; sisters, Rosemary Adduci and Florence Pacheco; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
