Gwendolyn Oglesby Obituary

Gwendolyn Oglesby, 70, of Ina and formerly of Carterville, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019, at Benton Rehab.

She was born July 25, 1949, in Herrin, to Frank and Bonita (Thomas) Volner.

Gwendolyn is survived by her daughter, Shanna Pinkston of Carterville; grandchildren, Kyle Wetzel, Christian Wetzel and Aaron Pinkston, all of Carterville; and brother, Audy Volner of Mt. Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jackie Volner.

Gwendolyn worked for Com-Pac for over 20 years.

Family memorial service will be held at a later date. Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville assisted the family with arrangements.
