Doris O'Daniell, 85, of Colp, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2019, at Crainville Baptist Church, with Pastors Cody Knapik, Jim Heaney, Tim Gossett, and Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the church.

Doris was born May 28, 1934, in Jackson County, to George and Ellen Mabel (Gossett) Hogg. She married Dewey Lee O'Daniell on July 31, 1960, in Colp. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Howell of Colp; son, Deron (Pam) O'Daniell of DeWitt; grandchildren, Alex Howell of Colp, Ethan O'Daniell of DeWitt, Kyle Miller of Carbondale; grandpup, Harper Howell; son-in-law, Jim Howell of Colp; uncle, Paul Raymond Hogg; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Natalie; brother, Paul Walker; and sisters, Imogene Spiller and June Hogg.
She devoted her life to taking care of her family.
Doris was a lifelong member of Hope Chapel United Methodist Church in Colp. She faithfully served her church and community in a variety of roles. Doris volunteered with the youth group, helped with VBS and Senior Luncheons, and served as a Lay Leader.
