HERRIN - Anita Diane Crawford, 70, of Herrin, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Herrin Hospital.
Services conducted by the family will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Crawford Family Cemetery in Logan, Illinois (off Parish Road).
Diane was born on December 9, 1947, in Herrin, to Robert Lee and Lillian Evelyn (Worthen) Hock Sr. She married Lavern Crawford in Benton and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Dina (James) Shawdowens Jr. of Herrin; step-sons, Doug Crawford, Steve Crawford and Ron Crawford; step-daughter, Theresa Kraft; brother, Robert Lee (Linda) Hock Jr. of Goreville; sisters, Pearl (Bart) Pearson of Goreville, Jean (Harold) Hubbard of Royalton, and Margo (Bob) Nellis of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Amber Carmichael, Kristina Williams, David Williams Jr., Trista Crawford, Amanda Johnson, Roy Dean Johnson, Michael Kraft, Samantha Kraft, Jeffrey Shadowens, Joshua Shadowens; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; plus many more extended family.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons, Derek and David Williams.
She worked at the boat factories in Benton for more than 10 years.
