Anthony "Tony" E. Roach

Anthony "Tony"  E. Roach, 53, of Carterville, died Friday, November 8, 2019, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by his family. 

Tony was born on February 7, 1966, in Hoisington, Kansas, to Delmar and Barbara Sue (Price) Roach.

He is survived by his adoptive parents, Thelma and John Flora of Carterville; sister, Cindy Wright of Colp; brothers, Ronnie Roach of Carterville, Tyron Roach of Evansville, Indiana, John Flora Jr. of Carterville, Chad Roach and Jonathon Strunk, both of Greenville, North Carolina; father, Delmar Roach of Greenville, North Carolina; uncle, James Flora of Carterville; nieces and nephews, Miranda Wilda, Amy Wilda, Cheyann Flora, Cally Flora, Crystal and Dennis Roach, Cody Roach, and Christopher Roach. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Del-Ray Roach. 

Tony owned and operated his own lawn mowing business for many years. He also volunteered at Create-A-Smile in Carterville. 

He loved to play Bingo and could always be seen driving Ms. Thelma around.
